About the work:
Skull-A-Day
is an ongoing project to create 365 daily skull images using a variety
of media. The images are posted daily online at www.skulladay.com.
The site has encouraged readers to submit hundreds of their own found
and self-made skulls as well as create songs and videos inspired by the
project. This video is a sampling of the works to date, set to a
soundtrack of reader submitted music.
About the artist:
Artist/designer
Noah Scalin is founder of the socially conscious design and consulting
firm Another Limited Rebellion, based in Richmond, VA.
He
also teaches a course on socially conscious design at Virginia
Commonwealth University. Noah's work has been featured in dozens of
international publications and websites as well as in galleries in
Virginia and the Printed Matter Bookstore in NYC.
